Job Description:

Our vibrant and dynamic community healthcare center is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated, highly-skilled behavioral health professionals. Preference will be given to Psychiatrists dually boarded in Psychiatry and Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

We are a non-profit organization experiencing tremendous growth and expansion in the beautiful inland North County, San Diego area.  Our mission is to provide quality services to the underserved in our community, focusing on those most in need.  We are a National Health Service Corps loan repayment site.

Experience and Skills:

The position requires that you be board certified in adult psychiatry and possess a valid DEA license. Also required is the ability to work well with others in a team environment, cultural proficiency, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, medication management, psycho-education, and follow-up services at the highest level.  In addition you would provide supervision of mid-levels and support to primary care physicians on behavioral health treatment.  Experience with medication assisted treatment of substance abuse a plus.  Bilingual Spanish/English speakers encouraged to apply.
