Job Description:

Summary:  Responsible for maintaining QA (quality assurance) standards of performance and for all equipment in lab and oversees same standards at all NHcare clinic locations. Assures sufficient supplies in lab at all times.  Assures sufficient coverage in lab. Monitors lab performance to be in compliance with CLIA requirements.  Works with the RN Supervisor and conducts ongoing QA audits pertaining to the lab.  Reports QA concerns to RN Supervisor in a timely manner.     

 

 

 

Experience and Skills:

Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Good interpersonal skills, customer service skills, communication skills, and detail oriented preferred. 

 

Education: High School Diploma /GED required. CPR card required. Phlebotomy certificate or MA certificate required.

 

Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience as phlebotomist or MA required. Minimum one year experience in a community health care setting required.
