Job Description:

Role Overview & Purpose: The Clinical Services Supervisor (CSS) works to support the mission and vision of Neighborhood Healthcare by cultivating an environment that produces excellent patient-centered care and clinical services within a dynamic team setting.

To achieve these ends the Clinical Services Supervisor works to ensure smooth workflow for clinical staff, meet quality measures and productivity goals, and support staff development by demonstrating and living the company values: Compassion, Above & Beyond, Generosity, Integrity, Teamwork.

The Clinical Services Supervisor’s job responsibilities and performance expectations generally fall into the following three categories: Staff Management and Development, Clinical Administration, and Operations Management.

Experience and Skills:

KNOWLEDGE: Familiar with clinical workflows. Proficient in an electronic health records system.

SKILLS: Excellent time management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills. Use of sound leadership and emotional intelligence practices. Able to analyze data for performance metrics.

ABILITY TO: Ability to work under pressure and be flexible with changing site needs. Can work with people of all social and ethnic backgrounds and maintain confidentiality. Able to train and manage staff in a collaborative manner.

EDUCATION: Associates degree or two years equivalent experience. Two years supervisory experience required or one year Lead or Trainer experience and successful completion of Project LEAP. Two years supervisory experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred. Medical Assistant diploma preferred.
